10-3-2009 Sunset Valley

We played a new course Sunset Valley, and the back nine were only open, so we played it twice.

Due to rain, it was a last minute decision for this battle to go down. It rained all the way to the course on and off, and once we got there it was just great weather... too bad our golf scores weren't the same way. I had been at least 3 months since Jamie and I had played together, and Jamie didn't much in those 3 months; he was down the shore all summer. We both played the day before as practice rounds to get us back into the game. I shot a 94 and Jamie was on the low 100s. Lauren was in attendance for the first 9, but had to leave after a bad performance by herself.


Now for the round...Lets just say it wasn't our best golf. After nine holes, Jamie was leading by 3. There really wasn't anything pretty going on. Maybe a par or two by each of us. The back nine wasn't anything exciting as we both turned in rounds of 60 and 61. And by now you know, Evan lost by 4. I had a chance to tie/win on the last hole, but by then we were both feeling extremely tired from playing the day before and then walking a hilly 18.


It was good to get together and play since we hadn't in such a long time.
